Tender’s out of school work falls under our Youth Ambassador Programme which supports young people to better educate and mentor their peers when it comes to healthy relationships.
Our projects use drama and discussion-based activities to explore issues of equality, respect, and the healthy and unhealthy behaviours present within relationships; including violence and abuse. We often devise new drama pieces, films and radio plays with young people; offering the opportunity for participants to develop as educators and advocates, and to think creatively when campaigning.
Our Youth Ambassador Program has historically delivered projects in a range of different settings, including; Youth Clubs, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), Specialist SEN Schools, Theatres and Universities.
Our work has been robustly evaluated, demonstrating positive changes in the attitudes, awareness, achievement and behaviour of young people. We are proud to run a Youth Board, a group of young activists aged 14-25, who actively influence and develop the work that Tender delivers.
The Youth Ambassador team offer a variety of funded projects that would be free for your youth setting to participate in.
The Youth Ambassador team can offer bespoke projects, funded by you and designed to the specific needs of your young people.
The Youth Ambassador team offers accredited Youth Facilitation and Peer Mentoring training as well as opportunities to join our Youth Board.
