Avoiding Abuse - Communication and support

First Glimpses of Tender

Charity. Gender Equality. Women. Empowerment. Arts and crafts! My first two days at Tender have been full of these things. Babies. Women working together. Tea and biscuits galore. Vegan food. There might be many stereotypes that come to mind when we picture women working together for a non-for profit arts organisation, but I struggle to think of any that don’t incite a little smile. What’s not to love about a group of like-minded, empathetic, creative and kind women working together to fight for a cause that they are all passionate about.

Lad Culture During Freshers

For many, Freshers is a time to celebrate; it brings together strangers in a totally new environment, allows for independent living and all this whilst drinking yourself silly and wearing outrageous fancy dress (minus the thought of waking up at the crack of dawn in last nights clothes with a mouth full of beer-breath and regret for a 10AM lecture).

Tender Delivers Training Around the Impact of Pornography on Young People

We all know the song: “Let’s talk about sex, baby. Let’s talk about pornography. Let’s talk about the fact that children aged 12-17 form the single largest group of online pornography consumers and what kind of an impact such early exposure is going to make on young people” (it’s catchy).
