Our Youth Board
Tender’s Youth Board are a group of 16-25 year olds who are committed to Tender’s mission in ending gender-based violence, and promoting healthy relationships amongst young people. They are based around the UK and meet on a monthly basis on Zoom.
What does Tender’s Youth Board do?
Learn
We learn about the topics of domestic abuse, sexual violence and relationships.
Influence
We influence the work Tender does to engage young people in our healthy relationship projects.
Collaborate
We collaborate and network with like-minded young people and relevant organisations.
Skills
We develop skills and experience in the charity sector.
Represent
We represent the charity at events for stakeholders and funders, such as the Tender Awards.
Create
We create campaigns, podcasts, films and blog posts around Tender’s mission.
Interested in joining the Youth Board?
Are you passionate about ending gender-based violence and bettering relationships education for young people? Are you creative, interested in engaging with arts and drama based projects and meeting new people? Can you dedicate at least two hours each month, particularly the first Wednesday between 5.30 – 7pm?
