Local authority training
As part of our work with child and youth practitioners, we work with local authorities to deliver funded training programmes to youth settings and third sector organisations within their boroughs.
What we offer
Our content ranges from basic awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence, to how to respond to disclosures, identify abuse and develop conversations with children and young people.
Who we support
We deliver directly to local authorities and their employees, such as social and youth housing workers, or we can deliver to third sector and youth organisations within that local authority.
Key information
Duration
Our training varies from one-hour information sessions all the way to full-day or multiple-day training, depending on the programme.
Eligibility
We can work with any local authority in the UK.
Cost
We charge according to the length of the sessions, the number of sessions, setting and beneficiaries, the time taken to develop the sessions, and the number of facilitators required.
Bespoke training
We can develop bespoke training based on local needs and priorities. For example, we can focus on issues prevalent in your area such as child-on-child or online abuse, or develop a training to a length that works with your availability.
Get in touch to discuss your needs and we will design training specifically tailored to you.
Very engaging, good amount of information and group discussion/activity. I’ve found it really helpful and will definitely think about the things discussed in my role.
