Angharad Turner-Fielder

Programme Manager (Tender North)

Angharad trained in Drama at the University of Exeter back in 2003 and went on to study an MScEcon in International Politics at the University of Aberystwyth. This multi-disciplinary approach to her praxis, fuelled by a firm belief in the power of art to bring about political, individual and social change has been, and continues to be, echoed throughout her work.

Angharad is an avid advocate of learning through fun! She has a breadth of experience using drama to inspire, explore and create in various settings with adults and young people, including prisons, hostels, schools and referral units in the UK, Brazil and Nepal.

Angharad also has over 12 years’ experience working with the Joanna Project in Leeds, who support women facing multiple barriers including gender-based violence. This work has further fuelled her determination to see high quality domestic and sexual abuse prevention work available for young people. Angharad is thrilled to have worked with Tender to establish Tender’s work with West Yorkshire and is excited to be leading the growth of this vital work in the region.
