Jen joined Tender in Autumn 2022 and is now Programme Manager for London and the South East. Prior to joining Tender, Jen worked for a grassroots charity where she developed programmes for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. In the past, she has led safeguarding and pastoral teams in mainstream schools and in an alternative provision for young women at risk of exploitation.

Jen gained her MA from King’s College London, where she was able to ground her frontline professional experience within a framework of Children’s Rights. Her areas of particular interest include childhood in digital spaces, teenage understandings of consent, and gender representation in children’s media. Jen remains a passionate advocate for Children’s Rights and empowering children and young people to have agency and autonomy over their own lives.
