RE:SET Mentor, Hammersmith & Fulham

Laura is the Tender RE:SET Mentor for schools in Hammersmith and Fulham. She facilitates workshops with children and young people, school staff and parents and carers, helping to prevent young people from becoming either victims or perpetrators of abuse. She is hugely passionate about creating a step change and challenging attitudes which tolerate or condone abuse and discrimination.

Laura joined Tender in January 2024. Prior to this, she worked as a classroom teacher in primary schools for 10 years, including roles such as Head of PSHE and Special Educational Needs Coordinator. She has a BA Hons in Philosophy from the University of York, PGCE from University of Leeds, Masters in Learning and Teaching from University of Oxford and National Award in Special Educational Needs Coordination from UCL.

Alongside her role at Tender, Laura is a qualified children’s yoga teacher and runs classes teaching yoga and mindfulness through stories. She is also a huge musical theatre fan.
