Lauren joined Tender in 2024 as part-time Projects Coordinator for Adult Services, providing administrative support for training projects for adults with safeguarding responsibility.

Before Tender, Lauren has worked in a variety of frontline roles within the violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector, specialising in practical and emotional support for victim/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Lauren holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Birmingham and is a trained Independent Sexual Violence Advisor, providing support to victim/survivors going through the criminal justice process.

Alongside support roles, Lauren has delivered domestic and sexual violence training to police officers, health professionals and university staff to help them recognise and respond to disclosures of domestic and sexual violence, as well as providing information on the effects of trauma and challenging the myths held around victim/survivors.
