Ruth supports and delivers training to adults with safeguarding responsibilities, including teachers, local authority workers and third-sector volunteers. She is the internal quality assurer for Tender’s accredited training programmes, including OCN London and CPD-accredited sessions.

Having previously honed her skills as an arts facilitator with inclusive children’s theatre company Angel Shed and the integrated dance company Lantern, Ruth came to work with Tender in 2017. Since then she has worked in various departments as a Youth Facilitator and Administrator and now supports Tender’s Adult Services team.

In her spare time, Ruth is chairs the board for Nuu Theatre, a young people’s theatre company focussed on breaking down barriers for minoritised young people in the London theatre scene. She also enjoys reading, yoga and playing an unhealthy amount of tabletop top role playing games with her friends.
