Simon has worked in the media for his entire professional career. For 20 years, he was an award-winning photojournalist for a variety of internationally renowned newspapers, magazines and photographic agencies and most recently as a senior staff photographer on The Times before becoming its News Picture Editor. Subsequently, he has run his own social media business, consulted on a number of major media projects, and picture edited for Reuters and the Financial Times.
