Supporting a student-led movement

Student unions are at the forefront of the movement to prevent domestic abuse, sexual violence and other harmful and abusive behaviours in students’ lives. Tender supports this work through engaging and impactful workshops which educate and empower student officers, student leaders and student union staff to continue pushing for safer campuses for all. We focus on identifying and preventing harmful behaviours as well as building more inclusive campus cultures and supporting student-led campaigning.

Supporting student officers

Student officers are in unique and often challenging roles. Our workshops are a fantastic addition to their induction training.

Deepening knowledge

We deepen student officers’ and student leaders’ knowledge of gendered violence, empowering them to lead campaigns and supporting them to respond to student disclosures.

They have grown so much in terms of inclusivity, whereby they actively support, encourage and engage with the trans community within their team. The programme was absolutely phenomenal in every way and Liverpool Hope was truly blessed to have such an opportunity.

Staff workshops

We empower student union staff with the knowledge to identify, discuss and prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence and develop a more inclusive campus culture. We can provide training for staff from a wide range of departments, from activities and student voice to retail and hospitality roles.
